Why you shouldn't give up after failing ||Advice

When I was a kid I always aimed to be the best at absolutely everything that I did. I was the best at school (I still have really good grades but I'm not the best at ever single subject like I used to be). I was the best at all my extra curricular activities, which does not mean that I was necessarily better than everyone else there, it means that I always had great results due to my hard work (maybe not in school but in everything else I can say that I always worked hard).
I grew up knowing that if I'm gonna do something, I'm gonna do it in the best way I possibly can, no matter how hard that is.

I had never experienced failure until I did my driving test and I failed. It affected me in a very deep psicological way, so deep that I lost all of the confidence I had in my self and in my ability to succeed. Specially because I had worked so hard to take that exam and I still failed.  It affected me so much that took me a whole year to go out and do it again (don't worry, this time I passed! YEEEY).

Whit all of this I just mean that you really shouldn't give up after you fail. Failure is just the universe giving you a second change. Unfortunately it took me almost a year to realize that.
If you have a goal, work for it, if you can't do it at first, try again and again until you can. Failure is just a part of life and part of growing up.
I wouldn't be as strong as I am today if I had never failed before.

So the message I want to live here is that we all fail, we are human beings, we are not perfect. The best thing you can do is learn from your mistakes and try again. I know that our dreams sometimes look impossible to achieve but just like a quote I read in the Tribe Bloggers Chat last night "The word it self says I'm Possible".

  1. This is such a great reminder.
I find this totally relatable too - still need to get the courage to take my driving test again because my confidence was shot! At the moment it's not really i priority for me but when the time comes I'll remember this post!
